We want our youth to be participants and beneficiaries of our transition program. It is of great importance to us that we create an environment where everyone associated with Youth for Honduras feels valuable. We hope that you will pray with us, for our youth, and our transition program!

Christian values: We are a Christian organization with a heart and passion for Honduran youth. We seek to follow the values that God has given us through the Bible, like humbleness, abnegation, sanctity, etc. This strengthens us in every aspect of life — in our coexistences with others, in our inner emotional circumstances, as well as in our personal journeys with Jesus Christ.

Commitment: We stand firm when it comes to supporting our youth in whatever situation they might face. But we also expect our youth to keep on trying, learning, and dreaming.

Integrity: Trust and transparency are fundamental for our work and we believe that our youth will prosper when building their lives on this base.

Respect: Respect is essential when engaging with other people. We wish to create an environment in and outside our organization where our youth respect their peers and mentors, taking into account the reciprocity as well.

Acknowledgement: We want to make sure that all persons associated with our organization are met with acknowledgement for who they are and that they feel that they can contribute to our work with their unique personalities.

Participation: We long to see our youth become a fundamental part of society. Youth for Honduras is their organization, the Honduran society is their society. We wish that they will actively engage in interpersonal activities.

Dialogue: We strive for common understanding in human relations, and our most important tool in order to achieve that is dialogue with patience.
